Many thanks to ChonNguyet - I have shown the technique to many of my friends - they sure were appreciated - Those roses are so pretty and easy to make. ChonNguyet and I have made 100-200 roses each year for the "Mother's Day" aka "Le Vu Lan" at Thien Tu Truc Lam Minh Chanh in Renton/WA - this year we celebrated last weekend on Sept.6,2009.
Yellow roses = Monks - Quy Thay-Co
Red roses = for those who still have their parents
Pink roses = for those who have lost one of their parents
White roses = for those who unfortunate lost both parents
