Fettuccine alla Zorio

Fettuccine Zorio

My older daughter had dinner at the Olive Garden restaurant last weekend with her friends before they went to their Homecoming Dance. She had order this dish - or something similar! She discribed what might have in her plate and today I came up with a recipe of my own.

Tasted and approved!

2 servings
2 white buttons mushroom, chopped
1 bacon strips break in small pieces
1 cup cocktail shrimps
2 tsp diced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 small package fettuccine noodles (break into 1-2 in long)
2 tsp butter
1 cup half and half cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
1 tsp dry parsley

-Fry bacon until crisp, drain, break into small pieces.
-Cook fettuccine in boiling water until soft, drain.
-Heat butter, add mushroom, shrimps, onion, garlic then add bacon and cream - add salt and pepper to tast, then add noodles. Stirring occationally. Finally add cheese and dry parsley. Serve immediatel with a salade and garlic bread.
