Fortune cookies

Ingredients
2 Tbsp butter
5 Tbsp confectioner's sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla liquid (or bột thì bánh ra trắng)
1 large egg white
4 Tbsp all purpose flour
14 strips paper (3'' x 1/2'' with fortunes)
How it's made:
- Melt butter
- Remove from heat, with wire whisk, beat in sugar, salt, egg, vanilla, then flour.
- Drop 1 tsp batter onto cookie sheet - spread evenly to form a 3'' round and 2'' apart.
- Bake 375*F for 5 minutes or until you see a brown ring around cookies.
- Take out and shape as fast as possible while they are still hot. So suggest to bake 6 cookies at a time.

Shaping cookies: place a fortune strip in middle fold cookie in half then fold in half on an edge of a bowl to give a folding shape - Using a rubber band to hold it shape until it cool.

Second batter mixing method:
- Whisk egg white until foamy
- Add sugar continue to beat to peaks form
- Add butter, flour, salt, vanilla
- Bake 350*F from 5-8 min. - Take the baked cookies sheet out and replace another load.
- Take cookies out from baking sheet and start shaping while they still hot.

Add more fun:
- To make cookies more special and unique, add chopped roast almond to the batter.
- Deep the cookies in chocolate fondue (1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chip + 1 Tbsp butter=microwave 30 seconds)
- Deep in white chocolate fondue the sprinkle with sugar candies for holidays and special occasions like birthday and wedding.
