Harvested from the salvia Hispanica plant, which is a type of sage in the family of mint, chic seeds are high in Omega-3 fatty acids. It was eaten with other seed crops, alone, grounded into flour, as the medicine and mixed with other medicines, pressed to make oil, used as the base mixture for body paint and people used to drink as the beverage after dissolving it in water. Now it is considered as the power food and some believes it to be the brain food.
